During the first two weeks of the escalation of the war into Beirut, classrooms in shelter schools were transformed into spaces for activity and engagement for children. In schools such as Ibtihaj Qaddoura Mixed Public School and Al-Irshad Public Co-Educational School, Makhzoumi Foundation’s team organized recreational activities based on coloring and activity sheets, tailored to meet the needs of children in shelter settings. More than 620 children benefited from these activities, which helped them spend their time in a positive way and encouraged interaction in a safe, structured environment.

أنشطة الأطفال في مدارس الإيواء
خلال الأسبوعين الأوّلين من توسّع الحرب نحو بيروت، تحوّلت الصفوف في مدارس الإيواء إلى مساحات نشاط وتفاعل للأطفال. في مدارس مثل ابتهاج قدورة الرسمية المختلطة والإرشاد الرسمية المختلطة، نظّم فريق مؤسسة مخزومي أنشطة ترفيهية قائمة على التلوين وأوراق الأنشطة، صُمّمت لتناسب احتياجات الأطفال داخل مراكز الإيواء. استفاد أكثر من 620 طفلًا من هذه الأنشطة التي ساهمت في إشغال وقتهم بطريقة إيجابية وتعزيز تفاعلهم ضمن بيئة آمنة ومنظّمة.
