In recognition of her efforts in serving the nation, empowering its people and effectively contributing to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, the Excellence Awards Academy – Dubai honored Mrs. May Makhzoumi, Makhzoumi Foundation’s President.
Mrs. May Makhzoumi received the Arab Pride Award for the most influential personalities in the economy and inclusive development, for the leadership category of supporting civil societies, during a ceremony held through ZOOM application due to the conditions resulting from the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
This appreciation was based on the work of Mrs. Makhzoumi in leading Makhzoumi Foundation, through which she provided services for 23 years, and didn’t stop during the Corona pandemic, the Beirut explosion, and the deteriorating economic situation Lebanon is going through. In parallel, the Foundation continued to provide its development services by empowering youth and women.
The “Pride of the Arabs Award”, which was launched in Dubai, aims to deepen the honored personalities’ sense of pride and belonging to the nation, and to honor and appreciate creators and innovators.
تقديرًا لجهودها في خدمة الوطن وتمكين الناس والمساهمة الفالة في تطبيق أهداف التنمية المُستدامة، كرّمت أكاديمية جوائز التميز – دبي رئيسة مؤسسة مخزومي السيدة مي مخزومي.
وقد تسلّمت السيدة مي مخزومي جائزة فخر العرب للشخصيات الأكثر تأثيرًا في الاقتصاد والتنمية الشاملة، عن فئة قيادة دعم المجتمعات الأهلية، خلال مراسم عُقدت عبر تطبيق ZOOM نظرًا للأوضاع الصحية الناتجة عن تفشي فيروس كورونا.
هذا التقدير أتى بناءًا على عمل السيدة مخزومي في قيادة مؤسسة مخزومي، والتي من خلالها قدّمت خدمات على مدى 23 سنة، ولم تغب أياديها عن المساعدة خلال جائحة كورونا، وانفجار بيروت، والوضع الاقتصادي المتردي الذي يمر به لبنان. وبالتوازي، استمرت المؤسسة بتقديم خدماتها التنموية عبر تمكين الشباب والسيدات.
“جائزة فخر العرب” التي انطلقت من دبي، تهدف إلى تعميق شعور الشخصيات المكرّمة بالفخر والإعتزاز والإنتماء للوطن، وتكريم وتقدير المبدعين والمبتكرين.
