On the occasion of the International Day of Recycling, the Makhzoumi Foundation Development Program participated in the “Big Blue Campaign” exhibition, from 18 to 23 March 2019, at the Dunes Hotel – Verdun, under the patronage of Minister of Environment Fadi Jrayssati.
The exhibition included a display of innovations in the recycling sector, where Makhzoumi Foundation offered a wide collection of upcycled, eco-friendly handicrafts. The Foundation also presented its project “Yalla Nefers”, which collects paper waste, as well as inorganic waste (plastic, glass, metal, cloth and shoes …) from 15 points in Beirut.
Makhzoumi Foundation also dedicated a corner at the exhibition for environmental handicrafts made by school students, in order to sensitize them to the need for waste reduction, reuse and recycling, known as the Rs principle.
بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للتدوير شارك برنامج التنمية في مؤسسة مخزومي في معرض جمعية “حملة الأزرق الكبير”، في الفترة الممتدة بين بين 18 و23 آذار 2019، في فندق ديونز – فردان، برعاية وزير البيئة فادي جريصاتي.
تضمّن المعرض إبراز للإبتكارات في قطاع التدوير، حيث عرضت مؤسسة مخزومي تشكيلة واسعة من الأشغال اليدوية الصديقة للبيئة المُعاد استخدامها. كما عرضت المؤسسة مشروعها “يلا نفرز” الذي يقوم على جمع النفايات الورقية، إضافة الى النفايات غير العضوية (بلاستيك، زجاج، معدن، قماش وأحذية…) من 15 نقطة في بيروت.
كما خصّصت مؤسسة مخزومي زاوية ضمن معرض الأشغال الحرفية البيئيّة لتلامذة المدارس، بهدف توعيتهم على ضرورة التخفيف من النفايات وإعادة استخدامها وتدويرها، ما هو معروف باستراتيجية الخفض وإعادة الاستخدام وإعادة التدوير (3 Rs Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
