His Excellency Mr. Gregory Galligan, Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon, made an official visit to the Makhzoumi Foundation, where he met with the President, Mrs. May Makhzoumi. During the visit, His Excellency was accompanied by Mrs. Mirna Shidrawi and was given a comprehensive tour of the Foundation’s facilities.
The Ambassador visited the Foundation’s various departments and programs, gaining in-depth insight into its humanitarian, educational, and social initiatives, as well as its ongoing efforts to support vulnerable communities across Lebanon. The visit also provided an opportunity for constructive discussions on areas of shared interest, potential avenues for collaboration, and the importance of international partnerships in advancing sustainable development and creating lasting social impact.

تعزيز الشراكات الدولية
قام سعادة السفير الكندي في لبنان، السيد غريغوري غاليغان، بزيارة رسمية إلى مؤسسة مخزومي، حيث التقى برئيسة المؤسسة السيدة مي مخزومي. وقد رافق سعادته خلال الزيارة السيدة ميرنا شدراوي، حيث اطّلع على مختلف أقسام المؤسسة ضمن جولة شاملة في مرافقها.
وشملت الجولة التعرف على البرامج والمبادرات الإنسانية والتربوية والاجتماعية التي تنفذها المؤسسة، إلى جانب جهودها المستمرة في دعم الفئات الأكثر حاجة في مختلف المناطق اللبنانية. كما شكّلت الزيارة فرصة لإجراء نقاشات بنّاءة حول مجالات الاهتمام المشترك، وإمكانيات التعاون المستقبلي، وأهمية الشراكات الدولية في تعزيز التنمية المستدامة وإحداث أثر اجتماعي مستدام.
