Makhzoumi Foundation’s “Step-forward” program conducted the finale event/graduation of the Remote Internship project at Makhzoumi foundation headquarters. An Event filled with innovative projects, bright minds presenting, and panel judging such projects; all for the hopes of helping Lebanon.
The Remote Internship Project started on 15/8/2020 under the wing of the Step-forward program. It aims to equip the youth with experience and knowledge of basic project management to create their own innovative social projects. Additionally, by creating their project’s proposals and developing prototypes, Step-Forward facilitated an environment of distance-social learning with constant monitoring to ensure the quality of the outcomes and provided guidance.
The event reflected a wave of projects that will raise Lebanon again as the Phoenix it is.
It is worth mentioning that “Step Forward” program was launched at the beginning of 2016, to structure the volunteering and internship request at Makhzoumi Foundation. And since that, we’ve hosted more than 200 hundreds interns & volunteers, from different local & international universities, such as: Oxford University, The American University of Beirut AUB, the Lebanese American University LAU, Phoenicia University, the Lebanese International University LIU, the Lebanese University, Haigazian University, Beirut Arab University BAU, American University for Science & Technology AUST, Arts Sciences & Technology University in Lebanon AUL, University Saint Joseph USJ and the American University of Culture & Education AUCE.
