Makhzoumi Foundation concluded a training workshop entitled “Social Responsibility International License” in cooperation with the regional network of corporate social responsibility CSR, which was attended by forty trainees from a number of institutions and social associations, private companies and the Ministry of Social Affairs.
The training workshop is the first of its kind in Lebanon, accredited by the United Nations Global Compact Program and the International Academy of Social Responsibility, prepared and presented by Prof. Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Ibrahim, Vice President of the Regional Network of Corporate Social Responsibility CSR, and the international expert and consultant in the field of CSR. The trainees underwent intensive three-day courses from 4 to 6 September at the Four Points Hotel in Beirut.
The closing ceremony was held in the presence of the Honorary President of the Makhzoumi Foundation HE Deputy Fouad Makhzoumi, the President of Foundation Mrs. May Makhzoumi, the General Manager of the Foundation Mr. Samer Al-Safah, and the Director of the Vocational Training Program at the Foundation Mrs. Malak Hout, and the trainer, expert and international consultant Prof. Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Ibrahim.

Makhzoumi congratulated the trainees, stressing in a speech, the importance of their role through the institutions they represent in laying the foundations of social responsibility, to support and develop the Lebanese society. Makhzoumi stressed the need for cooperation and unification of efforts and solidarity among the various segments of society to achieve development goals.

In turn, the President of the Foundation congratulated the participants on completing their training, praising their national sense and interest in such courses that would promote the community. “At Makhzoumi Foundation, we have been working to empower the community, youth and women to build a better future. We hope to see its positive impact on our society, especially after the cooperation and the presence of a number of associations, institutions and ministries.

For his part, Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Ibrahim thanked Makhzoumi Foundation for this pioneering initiative and for their support for such workshops because of its importance, praising the size of attendance and interaction. He explained: This program is designed to drive employees in government, private and community organizations towards the development of their commitments to society, and to focus on the pillars of social responsibility adopted globally in terms of social dimension, economic dimension and environmental dimension.
In conclusion, certificates of completion of the training were delivered to the participants and the commemorative photos were taken.
