Under the weight of the phase our country is going through, from the stifling economic situation and the urgent pandemic crisis, conditions have been imposed on us that have changed our plans. Ramadan comes this year, and for the first time in 8 years, the annual Ramadan Village of Makhzoumi Foundation was absent from Beirut, while the need of needy families did not disappear.
In response to these needs, Makhzoumi Foundation has continued its journey that has lasted for more than 23 years, by distributing thousands of food rations to families in need, to help them during the holy month of Ramadan. Where the volunteers of Makhzoumi Foundation packed thousands of rations for distribution, after the sterilization of its contents and in compliance with all prevention measures.
In light of the requirements of the current situation – staying at home, the curfew and social distancing – Makhzoumi Foundation team delivered aid to the doorstep of families in need.
في ظل الأوضاع التي تمر بها البلاد، من ظروف إقتصادية خانقة، وأزمة صحيّة ملحّة، فُرضت علينا أوضاع غيّرت خططنا عن مسارها. حيث يأتي رمضان هذا العام، وللمرة الأولى منذ 8 سنوات، تغيب القرية الرمضانيى السنوية لمؤسسة مخزومي عن بيروت، فيما لم لم تغب حاجة الأسر المتعففة.
إستجابةً لهذه الحاجات، تابعت مؤسسة مخزومي مسيرتها المستمرة منذ أمثر من 23 عام، عبر توزيع آلاف الحصص الغذائية للأسر الأكثر حاجة، لمساعدتهم خلال شهر رمضان المبارك. حيث قام متطوعوا مؤسسة مخزومي بتوضيب آلاف الحصص الغذائية لتوزيعها، بعد تعقيم المحتويات ومع التزام كافة معايير الوقاية.
وفي ظل متطلبات الأوضاع الراهنة، البقاء في المنزل وعدم التجول والتباعد الإجتماعي، قام فريق عمل مؤسسة مخزومي بتوصيل المساعدات الى عتبة منازل الأسر الأكثر حاجة.
