The UNESCO Office in Beirut and Makhzoumi Foundation organized a “Regional Training workshop on Youth Volunteerism and Partnership Building in the Arab Region”, on 4-7 July 2017, in Byblos. Responding to the open call for participation, a group of 23 young men and women, who are decision-makers in a youth-led or youth-targeted organization, from 7 Arab countries (Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco) were selected out of over 180 applicants to participate and share their experiences with peers in this 4-day regional training workshop.
The workshop focused on the civic protection and enhancement of cultural heritage as a means to build social cohesion, a sense of belonging, and historical awareness, and thus create inclusive societies across the region.
نظّم مكتب اليونيسكو في بيروت مع مؤسسة مخزومي ورشة عمل تدريبية إقليمية في جبيل، حول “إدارة العمل التطوعي للشباب وتنمية الشراكات في المنطقة العربية”، بالتعاون مع جمعية بيروتيات، وذلك من 4 إلى 7 تموز 2017. ضمّت الورشة مجموعة من 23 شاباً وشابة، الذين هم صانعو القرار في منظمة يقودها الشباب أو تستهدف الشباب، من 7 بلدان عربية (لبنان، سوريا، الأردن، ليبيا، تونس، الجزائر والمغرب).
هدفت ورشة العمل إلى:
– تدريب المنظمات غير الحكومية للشباب من المنطقة في “إدارة التطوع” / بناء الشراكة.
– توفير مساحة فريدة للمنظمات غير الحكومية للشباب لتبادل خبراتهم وخططهم.
– إنشاء شبكة من المنظمات غير الحكومية الشبابية الناشطة في تعزيز التراث الثقافي من خلال أنشطة الشباب.
