On the occasion of the “International Day of Families”, Makhzoumi Foundation organized an event for women caregivers and children in Sanayeh Public garden, Beirut. The day included activities for women and children, and a play was conducted by the child protection animators to show the caregivers how they should act at home with their children. In addition, there was a clown, and many activities for the children and their parents. The women also participated in psycho-social support activities and produced bracelets for them and their daughters.
بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للعائلة، أقامت مؤسسة مخزومي احتفالا للأطفال والأمهات في حديقة الصنائع في بيروت. تخلل الاحتفال أنشطة متنوعة منها مسرحية قدّمها منشّطي فريق حماية الأطفال حول طريقة معاملة الأهل للأطفال في البيت، بالإضافة إلى عرض مهرّجين، كما شاركت الأمهات والفتيات المراهقات في صنع بعض الأشغال اليدوية التي هي نتاج تعاون بين أفراد العائلة .
