Education and skill-based training has the power to transform lives of women and youth, building the foundation for a brighter future and making them more self-sustainable.
Because poverty and conflict can make it difficult to access this knowledge, Makhzoumi Foundation relief team has secured a place in Shatila camp in Beirut to train women from different nationalities on the Basics of Sewing. The safe place is equipped with sewing machines of all kinds.
This is part of the informal skills training services aiming to provide participants with knowledge through short-term courses, and which are often delivered by trainers from the vulnerable community.

نظرًا لأن الفقر والصراع يمكن أن يصعبا الوصول إلى هذه المعرفة، فقد أمّن فريق الإغاثة التابع لمؤسسة مخزومي مكانًا في مخيم شاتيلا في بيروت لتدريب النساء من جنسيات مختلفة على أساسيات الخياطة. المكان الآمن مجهز بآلات الخياطة بجميع أنواعها.
هذا الجزء من خدمات التدريب على المهارات غير الرسمية، يهدف إلى تزويد المشاركين بالمعرفة من خلال دورات قصيرة الأجل، والتي يتم تقديمها في كثير من الأحيان بواسطة مدربين من المجتمع الأمس حاجة.
