Sustainability is not just an idea that we repeat, nor just a goal that we seek at Makhzoumi Foundation. Rather, it is an approach and a pattern that we follow during every project, activity or campaign we undertake.
In translation of this approach, and after implementing the stages of Makhzoumi Foundation’s initiative to light Beirut with solar energy, with a generous donation from the honorary President of the Foundation, MP Fouad Makhzoumi, to end the darkness that has enveloped Beirut, the maintenance teams cleaned and maintained solar-powered lighting panels in the streets of the capital, Beirut, to conserve their maximum energy and to continue lighting the streets of our beloved city.
الاستدامة ليست مجرد فكرة نكررها، ولا مجرد هدف نسعى إليه في مؤسسة مخزومي، بل هي نهج ونمط نتبعه خلال كل مشروع أو نشاط أو حملة نقوم بها.
ترجمةً لهذا النهج، وبعد تطبيق مراحل مبادرة مؤسسة مخزومي لإنارة بيروت بالطاقة الشمسية بهبة من رئيس مؤسسة مخزومي النائب فؤاد مخزومي، لحل أزمة العتمة التي خيّمت على بيروت، قامت فرق الصيانة بتنظيف وصيانة ألواح الإنارة التي تعمل بالطاقة الشمسية في شوارع العاصمة بيروت، للحفاظ على طاقتها القصوى، وللإستمرار بإضاءة شوارع مدينتنا.
