Under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, ITLS, in partnership with Makhzoumi Foundation, inaugurated the Lebanon Microsoft Skills Championship, in addition to a series of academic tournaments and exhibitions for the year 2022.
ITLS CEO Tarek Al-Basha stated that the importance of the tournaments lies in motivating students to obtain professional certificates that would enable them to advance in the labor market and develop their technical skills in the era of educational technology.
For her part, the vocational training program manager at Makhzoumi Foundation, Mrs. Malak Al-Hout, confirmed that the vision of this tournament coincides with the goals of the Foundation in empowering the local community with technical skills, which would enhance their role as active citizens in society.
In turn, the project manager, Imad Al-Shamaitli, expressed that they are looking forward this year for these tournaments to be a primary incentive for students to achieve their academic and professional progress, which opens doors of endless opportunities for them.
- Lebanon Microsoft Specialist Championship
Students from 13 to 22 years old compete in the Lebanese Championship for Microsoft skills in Word, Excel, & Power Point, and the winners participate in the World Championships that will be held in Florida in the summer of 2023.
