On the occasion of World Day to Combat Desertification, the 16th of June of each year, Makhzoumi Foundation’s Development Program participated in an awareness-raising event for a group of Al-Mabarrat school students during the environmental day organized by the Al-Mabrat Charitable Society in the pine grove of Beirut on 20 June 2019.
Awareness sessions on how to combat desertification and protect the environment were held in addition to the distribution of special awareness leaflets. During this day, students enjoyed the environmental handicrafts provided by the development program in Makhzoumi Foundation’s corner.
بمناسبة اليوم العالمي لمكافحة التصحّر، والموافق في 16 حزيران، شارك برنامج التنمية في مؤسسة مخزومي في توعية مجموعة من تلامذة مدارس المبرات، خلال اليوم البيئي الذي نظّمته جمعية المبرات الخيرية في حرش صنوبر بيروت في 20 حزيران 2019.
تخلل اليوم جلسات توعية حول كيفية مكافحة التصحر وحماية البيئة، إضافة إلى توزيع مناشير توعوية خاصّة بالموضوع. وقد استمتع التلامذة خلال هذا اليوم البيئي بالأشغال الحرفية البيئية التي أتاحها برنامج التنمية في الزاوية المخصّصة له ضمن النشاط.
