As part of the collaboration between the Primary Healthcare Department at the Ministry of Public Health #MoPH, the Medical Center at the American University of Beirut #AUBMC, and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education #MEHE and with the support of the World Diabetes Foundation #WDF, the primary healthcare team at #MakhzoumiFoundation participated in the launch of the initiative to integrate Type 1 diabetes care into primary healthcare centers in #Lebanon. This initiative aims to raise awareness about #Type1Diabetes, improve care for affected children and youth, and highlight the importance of community support in their treatment journey.
