Makhzoumi Foundation organized a campaign for early detection of non-communicable diseases NCD, in cooperation with Irshad and Islah Association, where the health team examined patients inside the mobile medical unit MMU next to Hamza Mosque in Beirut. They also referred some patients to receive special health services at the Foundation’s primary healthcare center in Barbour.
As well, and in continuation of the chronic disease screening campaign, Makhzoumi Foundation healthcare team examined beneficiaries at the primary healthcare center in Beirut over the course of two weeks, with a special focus on cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and high blood pressure. The team also provided comprehensive awareness on preventive factors and healthy daily habits that contribute to reducing the risk of these chronic diseases.
