Since the beginning of the crisis, Makhzoumi Foundation’s Mobile Medical Unit #MMU has provided over 5,000 primary healthcare services to displaced families in #Beirut and #Mount_Lebanon. The family doctor offers comprehensive medical consultations in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health’s Primary Healthcare Network and despite challenges in accessing some shelters and the urgent need for medical services. At the same time, the nurse performs routine blood pressure and diabetes screenings, along with distributing essential medications. With the support of volunteers from the #StepForward Initiative, families and individuals receive education on common health issues, along with preventive advice to ensure their safety. Each visit builds human connections that strengthen Makhzoumi Foundation’s commitment to delivering hope and care to all those in need during these difficult times.
منذ بداية الأزمة، يجول فريق العيادة الطبية النقالة التابعة لمؤسسة مخزومي لتقديم أكثر من ٥٠٠٠ خدمة رعاية صحية أولية للعائلات النازحة في #بيروت و#جبل_لبنان. وبالتعاون مع شبكة الرعاية الصحية الاولية في وزارة الصحة، ورغم التحديات المتمثلة بصعوبة الوصول لبعض مراكز الايواء والحاجة الماسة للخدمات الطبية، يقوم طبيب العائلة بتقديم الاستشارات الطبية الشاملة، وتقوم الممرضة بالفحوصات الدورية لضغط الدم والسكري، كما يتم توزيع الأدوية الأساسية. وبمساعدة المتطوعين من مبادرة خطوة الى الأمام، تتمّ بتوعية العائلات والافراد حول الحالات الصحية الشائعة، وتقديم نصائح وقائية لضمان سلامتهم. ومع كل زيارة، تُبنى روابط إنسانية تعزز التزام #مؤسسة_مخزومي بإيصال الأمل والعناية لكل من يحتاج في هذه الأوقات الصعبة.
