The Social Committee of the Unitarian Druze sect council, represented by the President, Mrs. Ghada Jumblatt, the Social Committee representative in Rashaya region, Akram Arabi, head of the expatriate department, Faten Zain Al-Din, and head of the planning department, Dr. Rami Atallah, visited the headquarters of Makhzoumi Foundation, where they were received by the President of Makhzoumi Foundation, Mrs. May Makhzoumi, and the Foundation’s administrative team.
Mrs. Jumblatt and the accompanying delegation were briefed on the programs implemented by Makhzoumi Foundation and the services it provides in various fields; as well, future cooperation between the Foundation and the Social Committee was discussed, especially with regard to empowering women in the fields of work, and exchanging experiences in economic and social projects and programs.
The meeting concluded with a tour to the various departments and programs of the Foundation.
زارت اللجنة الاجتماعية في المجلس المذهبي لطائفة الموحدين الدروز، ممثلة برئيستها المحامية غادة جنبلاط، ممثل اللجنة الاجتماعية في منطقة راشيا أكرم عربي، رئيسة قسم الاغتراب في المديرية العامة للمجلس المذهبي فاتن زين الدين ورئيس قسم التخطيط في المديرية العامة للمجلس الدكتور رامي عطاالله، مقر مؤسسة مخزومي حيت كان في استقبالهم رئيسة مؤسسة مخزومي السيدة مي مخزومي وفريق العمل الإداري في المؤسسة.
أطلعت رئيسة اللجنة الاجتماعية والوفد المرافق على البرامج التي تنفذها مؤسسة مخزومي والخدمات التي تقدمها في مختلف المجالات، وتم البحث في أوجه التعاون المستقبلي بين المؤسسة واللجنة الاجتماعية بخاصة فيما يتعلق بتمكين المرأة في ميادين العمل، وتبادل الخبرات في المشاريع والبرامج الاقتصادية والاجتماعية.
اختتم اللقاء بجولة قامت بها رئيسة اللجنة الاجتماعية والوفد المرافق على اقسام وبرامج المؤسسة المختلفة.
