In line with its environmental mission and its ongoing commitment to raising awareness on environmental preservation and biodiversity conservation, the Makhzoumi Foundation was a supportive partner in an environmental activity held at the Jaj Cedar Reserve in Byblos District, through its Environment/Development Program. The activity was organized by Cynthia Zouein Helou, a lecturer at AUT University – Halat, in collaboration with the Human for Environment and Development Association (HEAD).
The environmental trip brought together members of Makhzoumi Foundation, HEAD, along with students from the Faculty of Agriculture at the Lebanese University, as well as students from AUT University.

حماية الطبيعة بالشراكة
عملاً برسالتها البيئية وسعيها الدائم إلى التوعية بأهمية حماية البيئة والحفاظ على التنوع البيولوجي، كانت مؤسسة مخزومي شريكاً داعماً للنشاط البيئي الذي جرى في محمية أرز جاج – قضاء جبيل، وذلك من خلال برنامج البيئة والتنمية التابع لها. وقد نظّمت النشاط الأستاذة في جامعة AUT – حالات، سينتيا زوين حلو، بالتعاون مع جمعية إنسان للبيئة والتنمية (HEAD).
شارك في هذه الرحلة البيئيّة أعضاء من مؤسسة مخزومي وجمعية إنسان للبيئة والتنمية HEAD، وطلاب من كلية الزراعة في الجامعة اللبنانية، إلى جانب طلاب من جامعة AUT.
