Makhzoumi Foundation, in cooperation with SAWA Association for Development, organized a training course for 15 young men and women, on the path of empowering youth and women in the field of the doctor’s assistant, in Makhzoumi Foundation’s branch in Zahle.
In the details of the course, the training lasted 120 hours, divided into 90 hours of training on the tasks and functions of the doctor’s assistant, and 10 hours of training with the Lebanese Red Cross, during an activity held at the SAWA Center in Bar Elias city, in Beqaa area, and another 20 hours of training on computers, at Makhzoumi Foundation Zahle Branch.
Through this course, trainees became doctor’s assistants, having enhanced their knowledge of the pathology approach, developing and managing treatment plans, prescribing drugs and providing primary health care.
This project comes as part of a series of projects carried out by Makhzoumi Foundation, in various Lebanese regions, and in cooperation with a number of local and international associations and organizations, in order to empower youth and women, by training them to provide multiple employment opportunities.
أقامت مؤسسة مخزومي، بالتعاون مع جمعية سوا للتنمية، ضمن مسار تمكين الشباب والنساء، دورة تدريبيّة لخمسة عشر شاب وشابة،في إختصاص مساعد طبيب، في فرع المؤسسة في مدينة زحلة.
وفي تفاصيل هذه الدورة، كانت مدّة التدريب 120 ساعة، مُقسمة الى 90 ساعة تدريب على مهام ووظائف مساعد الطبيب، و10 ساعات خُصصت للتدريب مع الصليب الأحمر اللبناني ضمن نشاط أٌقيم في مركز سوا في منطقة بر الياس في البقاع، و20 ساعة كمبيوتر قدمت للمستفيدين في مقر مؤسسة مخزومي فرع زحلة.
ومن خلال هذه الدورة، أصبح المتدربون مساعدين طبيين، بعد تعزيز معرفتهم في نهج تشخيص المرض، وتطوير وإدارة خطط العلاج، ووصف الأدوية، وتقديم الرعاية الصحية الأوّليّة.
يأتي هذا المشروع ضمن سلسلة مشاريع تقوم بها مؤسسة مخزومي، في مختلف المناطق اللبنانية، وبالتعاون مع عددٍ من الجمعيات والمنظمات المحليّة والدولية، بهدف تمكين الشباب والنساء، عبر تدريبهم لإتاحة فرص عمل متعددة أمامهم.
