Measles is a dangerous and rapidly spreading disease that threatens the health of our children, especially because it is easily transmitted through the air, for example through sneezing, coughing or touching, but it is possible to eliminate it through vaccination.
Under the title “One Injection Makes Difference”, the Ministry of Public Health, in partnership with the World Health Organization and UNICEF, launched the second phase of the national campaign of vaccination against measles and polio for children from 6 months to 10 years of age.
Makhzoumi Foundation participated in this campaign in its Primary Health Care Center in Barbour, and in several other centers, namely: Tariq Al Jadida – Makhzoumi Foundation office, Aisha Bakkar – Islamic Center, Makhzoumi Foundation office in Hamra, Makhzoumi Foundation office in Gemmayze, Ain Mreisseh mosque, And Karm Al Zaytoun Clinic CPMI.
Makhzoumi Foundation mobile clinic also made multiple rounds, during which it continued with the campaign. Makhzoumi Foundation allocated places in various parts of the capital Beirut, for several days, which it visited through the mobile clinic, where it provided vaccinations to children.
مرض الحصبة خطير وسريع الانتشار يهدد صحة ولادنا، بالأخص لإنتقاله بالهواء بسهوله، مثلاً من خلال العطس أو السعال أو اللمس، لكن القضاء عليه ممكن، عبر اللقاح.
تحت عنوان “بتفرق ع نكزة”، أطلقت وزارة الصحة العامة، وبالشراكة مع منظمة الصحة العالمية واليونيسيف المرحلة الثانية من الحملة الوطنية للتلقيح ضد الحصبة وشلل الاطفالمن عمر ٦ أشهر حتى إتمام ١٠ سنوات.
وقد شاركت مؤسسة مخزومي في هذه الحملة في مركزها للرعاية الصحية الاولية في بربور، وفي عدة مراكز أخرى وهي: طريق الجديدة – مكتب مؤسسة مخزومي، عائشة بكار – المركز الاسلامي، مكتب مؤسسة مخزومي في الحمرا، مكتب مؤسسة مخزومي في الجميزة، مسجد عين المريسة، ومستوصف كرم الزيتون CPMI.
هذا وقامت العيادة النقالة التابعة لمؤسسة مخزومي بجولات متعددة، إستمرت خلالها بالحملة. حيث خصصت مؤسسة مخزومي أماكن في مختلف العاصمة بيروت على مدى عدة أيام، زارتها عبر العيادة النقالة، حيث قدّمت اللقاح للأطفال.
