412 Vulnerable Syrian Refugees received much needed Food parcels on April 9, 2016, in the presence of the Malaysian Ambassador and his Wife who also visited the Mobile medical Unit. They were assisted in the distribution by MF-RHSU whose social workers delivered a Sexual Gender Based Violence awareness session on “Family Planning” and a Child Protection awareness session on “7 tips parenting skills on daily life”. Lebanese Youth Red Cross volunteers provided support during the event. AUB students benefited from the event by conducting a data collection for a study. Finally, a post-distribution beneficiary evaluation survey was conducted on a random basis and revealed the participants’ satisfaction of a good organization, orderliness of the distribution and valuable information gained.
