After the outbreak of the Corona virus, and with the increasing cases’ numbers in Lebanon, it became necessary to take all preventive and proactive measures to combat its spread. Since the beginning of the pandemic, Makhzoumi Foundation’s Safety and Emergency Committee has launched successive campaigns.
In this regard, Makhzoumi Foundation supported the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), which started a campaign for corona virus testing in the Jiyeh and Damour regions (PCR Testing), in cooperation with Rafic Hariri University Hospital team of the Epidemiological Surveillance Department of the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health.
بعد تفشي فيروس كورونا، ومع تزايد عدد الحالات في لبنان، بات من الضروري اتخاذ كافة الاجراءات الوقائية، والاستباقية، لمكافحة انتشاره. وقد باشرت لجنة السلامة والطوارئ في مؤسسة مخزومي منذ بداية الجائحة بحملات متتالية في هذا الصدد.
وعلى هذا الصعيد، قامت مؤسسة مخزومي بمساندة المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين التي باشرت بحملة فحوصات لفيروس كورونا في منطقتي الجية والدامور، بالتعاون مع فريق مستشفى الحريري الجامعي التابع لقسم الترصد الوبائي في وزارة الصحة العامة.
