Within the context of its humanitarian and social mission aiming at empowering individuals in society, especially women and children, the Makhzoumi Foundation attended the ceremony organized by the Ministry of Social Affairs and the National Commission for Lebanese Women to launch the document “Standards of Temporary Safe Shelters for Protecting Women and Girls Survivors of Violence,” which was updated with the support of the United Nations Population Fund, in cooperation with “ABAAD” Organization. It was translated, designed, and launched with the support of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Makhzoumi Foundation is always concerned with everything new regarding developing and securing protection, especially for women and children.
إنطلاقًا من رسالتها الإنسانية والاجتماعية الهادفة لتمكين الأفراد في المجتمع وبشكل خاص النساء والأطفال، حضرت مؤسسة مخزومي حفل وزارة الشؤون الإجتماعية والهيئة الوطنية لشؤون المرأة اللبنانية، الخاص بإطلاق وثيقة “معايير دور الحماية الآمنة المؤقّتة الخاصّة بحماية النساء والفتيات الناجيات من العنف”، التي تم تطويرها بدعم من صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان، وبالتعاون مع منظمة “أبعاد”، والتي تمت ترجمتها وتصميمها وإطلاقها بدعم من وزارة الخارجية الهولندية. وتستمر مؤسسة مخزومي في مواكبة كلّ جديد من شأنه التطوير وتأمين الحماية خاصّة للنساء والأطفال.
