During a field visit highlighting humanitarian efforts on the ground, Chakeeb Arslan School welcomed Ms. Karolina Lindholm Billing, Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and H.E. Tom Wilson, Ambassador of Australia to Lebanon, where they reviewed Makhzoumi Foundation’s work within the shelter. The visit included a follow-up on the teams’ activities, particularly the mobile medical unit that visits the site every Tuesday to provide healthcare services, alongside recreational activities organized for children inside the school.
The visit reflects the importance of partnerships in supporting humanitarian response and enhancing access to essential services.

زيارة ميدانية للمفوضية إلى مركز إيواء
في زيارة ميدانية تسلّط الضوء على العمل الإنساني على الأرض، استقبلت مدرسة شكيب أرسلان السيدة كارولينا ليندهولم بيلينغ، ممثلة المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين، وسعادة السفير توم ويلسون، سفير أستراليا في لبنان، حيث اطّلعوا على جهود مؤسسة مخزومي داخل مركز الإيواء. وشملت الزيارة متابعة عمل الفرق، لا سيّما العيادة الطبية النقالة التي تزور المركز بشكل دوري كل يوم ثلاثاء لتقديم الخدمات الصحية، إلى جانب الأنشطة الترفيهية التي ينظّمها الفريق للأطفال داخل المدرسة.
زيارة تعكس أهمية الشراكات في دعم الاستجابة الإنسانية وتعزيز الوصول إلى الخدمات الأساسية.
