As part of community mobilization activities on Accelerated Immunization Activities (AIA) & Routine Immunization, Makhzoumi Foundation in partnership with UNICEF and the Ministry of Public Health conducted a clown show related to vaccination topic in Daouk area in Beirut, where the resistance was very high during outreach visits and where there was high number of defaulters.
The script focused on different important points related to Routine Immunization such as vaccines administration till the age of 18 years, along with face painting activities and distribution of toys.
Positive reinforcement was addressed by showing that the child is happy and healthy because he was vaccinated. The identification of vaccines side effects and making sure that these effects are normal was also a message sent through the play.
At the end of the play, Makhzoumi Foundation AIA team guided the parents on where they can go to have free vaccination services.
كجزء من أنشطة التعبئة المجتمعية وأنشطة التلقيح المتسارع والتحصين الروتيني، أجرت مؤسسة مخزومي، بالشراكة مع منظّمة اليونيسف ووزارة الصحة العامة، عرضًا لمهرج، يتعلق بموضوع التلقيح، في منطقة الداعوق في بيروت، حيث تبيّن خلال الزيارات الميدانية التوعية أن هناك عدد كبير من المتسربين من التلقيح.
حمل العرض رسائل مهمّة ركّزت على نقاط مختلفة تتعلق بالتحصين الروتيني، مثل إدارة اللقاحات حتى عمر 18 عامًا. كما أُقيمت أنشطة الرسم على الوجوه وتوزيع الدمى للأطفال.
هذا وقام فريق العمل بالتعزيز الإيجابي لموضوع العرض، من خلال إظهار أن الطفل سعيد وصحي لأنه تم تطعيمه. كما تم تحديد الآثار الجانبية للقاحات والتأكد من أن هذه التأثيرات طبيعية هي أيضًا رسالة حملتها المسرحية.
وفي نهاية المسرحية ، قام فريق مؤسسة مخزوميبتوجيه الأهالي إلى الأماكن التي يمكن لهم الذهاب إليها للحصول على خدمات التطعيم المجانية.
