Success in life is not only what we achieve for ourselves but also what we achieve for others. For 20 years, Makhzoumi Foundation’s goal has been to succeed by investigating in others. Since its inception, the Foundation has worked on the principle of the advantages of community empowerment, improving the economic, social and health level and the consequent improvement in the living conditions of individuals and families. More than 650,000 success stories span over twenty years of work around the cornerstones of development and progress.
Based on the vision of its founder and president, the first direction of the Foundation was to empower the society and its members. Over the years, Makhzoumi Foundation has contributed to the building, development, progress and advancement of Lebanese society through the completion of shortcomings in other sectors and in the services provided to people whether social, health, scientific, cultural, recreational or otherwise.
Lebanon was on a date with a huge celebration at the waterfront of downtown Beirut on Saturday night, February 24, 2018, bringing together political, media, artistic and economic figures to celebrate 20 years of human leadership and enable the community to build a bright future away from extremism and hatred. The achievement of the 20th has been the fruit of a real passion that is now felt by the entire Lebanese community of the Foundation team, which is working hard to meet the needs of the people.
The president of the Foundation, Mrs. May Makhzoumi, welcomed the audience and stressed that 20 years later, the Foundation is continuing to empower people with positive change.
In his speech, Dr. Fouad Makhzoumi stressed that from the first way we knew what we wanted and recognized the presence of others on the ground, and we saw their work and their achievements and we remained on our choice of the Foundation that brought us together today. Our goal is to combat poverty in as many people as possible in our country to prevent the need for families of freedom.
